Meet the Big Lick Latin Underground (BLLU) organizers! Allow us to introduce ourselves: The six of us come from various backgrounds and interests, but we are united in our love of Latin dance and passion for facilitating safe and inclusive events for our community.

On our team (from left to right) we have Avalon McMullen, who is our treasurer + admin wrangler and has been dancing for 2 years; Jessica Chen is our venue coordinator and has been dancing for 3 years; Robert Young is our media master + dance instructor and has been dancing for 4 years; Erin Wynd is our graphic designer + ambiance curator and has been dancing for 10 years; Erick Salinas Palencia is our DJ and has been dancing for 9 years; Lisa LaTorre is our social media guru + dance instructor and has been Latin dancing for 11 years.
