We are having zoukumi progressive zouk basic series starting on 10/21!!! This is basic 1 of the series for new dancers to experienced dancers to get in deep their basics. Zoukumi teaching is to focus on basics strong to create good fundamentals for Brazilian zouk

No dance experience necessary. No partner necessary. Anybody can lead or follow.

It is 6 week every Monday continuous topics focused beginner class

9:00PM - 10:00PM Zouk Practica Q & A
(Ophelia available until 9:30PM - open studio until 10PM)

Location: Zoukumi Lounge Roanoke VA (DM Ophelia for an address)

Class Focus Materials:
- Timing - Body Movement - Basics: in place, linear and side - Traveling basics - Preparation step - Direction change in basics -  Lunge + simple turn - Transitions and Viradinha - Send Away + Lateral Isolation and undulation - Waves and Sways - Travel Turn - Avertula vs lateral opening
